Finance Director Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Financial Partner to the Managing Director (MD) and a key member of the management team, influencing decisions that affect performance.
- Provide the MD and management team with accurate financial information and transparent analysis of risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with Group policies.
- Oversee all financial operations, including actuals, forecasts, and budgets, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate and approve financial commitments and risks in line with established financial KPIs.
- Foster strong collaboration with the regional team to align the plant’s strategy with the Group’s overarching objectives.
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard financial integrity.
- Develop and propose relevant KPIs and processes to help the management team monitor performance, drive actionable plans to enhance profitability, and meet annual financial targets.
- Provide strategic financial advice on investment opportunities and potential acquisitions.
- Act as the liaison between regional controllers and operations, ensuring effective communication and dissemination of critical information.
- Lead and manage the controlling team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- Over 10 years of relevant finance experience, with a strong background in manufacturing (essential).
- Proficiency in SAP systems.
- Demonstrated managerial and leadership experience.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Authorization to work in the EU.
